What's duty of care?
Duty of care is an obligation someone has as a person or as an organisation in order to prevent acts that could harm other people in a physical or emotional way.
Introduction
Duty of care is very important in media because it’s the responsibility the media organisations have in order to help us instead of harm us. Their duty is to inform us and help us grow, instead they use their ways to make money and acquire power from us. They have one single obligation, but instead they use it for other purposes like gossiping and competing with other media companies.

Conclusion
In conclusion, media has forgotten that they have a duty of care. They have other purposes now, like make money, sell more, acquire more power, etc. they have the obligation of helping us grow as a society, but instead, they fill our heads with garbage because it’s easier to control mindless people than well educated people. It’s not about informing anymore, they play by their own rules and we’re not even taken into consideration.
